Cystitis causes

        The cystitis is usually caused by bacteria that has been for some time in the urinary tract. Some situations may promote its development:

• Poor hygiene in intimate areas in women (often due to contamination by bacteria from feces).
• Diabetes
• Urinary probes
• A pregnancy (due to compression of the fetus on the bladder which prevents a complete draining)
• Stress
• Constipation
• Menopause

The cystitis frequent causes

        After sex. However, acute cystitis is not usually a sexually transmitted disease (STD). During sex, penetration of the penis into the vagina can cause a momentary opening of the orifice of the urethra. Bacteria present at the entrance of the vaginal opening can then enter in the bladder. The condition is not an STD because usually the woman is infected with its own bacteria, and not those of his partner. However, some STDs can give similar signs (especially gonorrhea).

        In case of digestive disorders: constipation or diarrhea. The bacteria that cause cystitis is most often the bacteria in the digestive tract (whose presence on the vulva is common). Digestive disorders are often accompanied by an imbalance in the populations of bacteria, more numerous or more pathogens.

        In case of sanitation. The lack of hygiene can obviously be involved, but more often the problem is the excess of hygiene and in particular the use of soaps and disinfectants. When douching very often the vagina, it usually results in destroying the "saprophytic" bacteria (those that normally colonize the area and in promoting the growth of a more virulent and more resistant bacteria .
